What is Sufism?
Sufism is a path towards the Truth where there are no provisions except Love. Its method is to look solely in one direction, and its objective is God.
In other words, Sufism is a journey from one’s ego towards the Truth with the aid of devotion, love and loving-kindness.
"O Sufi!
What is Sufism?
Sufism is the apprehension of Reality through the attraction of Divine Love. It is the struggle to bring about unity of attention in one’s inner and outer being, under the guidance of a master of the path.
In other words, Sufism means looking in one direction and seeing all things as One."
- Dr. Javad Nurbakhsh

The Nimatullahi Order:
The Nimatullahi Sufi Order is an authentic Sufi Order active in the modern day.
In common with all of the authentic Sufi orders, the Nimatullahi Order stems from an initiatic chain, going back to the beginning of Islam, with the Prophet Muhammad being considered the first Sufi master.
The word Nimatullahi is derived from the name of Shah Nimatullah Wali, who founded the order at the end of the 14th century C.E. and was one of the Iran's great Sufi masters.
Sufism, as practiced in the Nimatullahi order, emphasizes practical expression rather than doctrine and dogmas.
